अर्थ:- जो इस मन्त्र के उच्चारण के साथ गणेश जी का अभिषेक करता हैं उसकी वाणी उसकी दास हो जाती हैं | जो चतुर्थी के दिन उपवास कर जप करता हैं विद्वान बनता हैं | जो ब्रह्मादि आवरण को जानता है वह भय मुक्त होता हैं |

यो दूर्वाङ्कुरैर्यजति । 

स वैश्रवणोपमो भवति । 

यो लाजैर्यजति, स यशोवान् भवति । 

स मेधावान् भवति । 

यो मोदकसहस्रेण यजति । 

स वाञ्छितफलमवाप्नोति । 

यः साज्यसमिद्भिर्यजति 

स सर्वं लभते, स सर्वं लभते ।।

अर्थ:- जो दुर्वकुरो द्वारा पूजन करता हैं वह कुबेर के समान बनता हैं जो लाजा के द्वारा पूजन करता हैं वह यशस्वी बनता हैं मेधावी बनता हैं जो मोदको के साथ पूजन करता हैं वह मन: अनुसार फल प्राप्त करता हैं । जो घृतात्क समिधा के द्वारा हवन करता हैं वह सब कुछ प्राप्त करता हैं।

अष्टौ ब्राह्मणान् सम्यग्ग्राहयित्वा, 

सूर्यवर्चस्वी भवति । 

सूर्यग्रहे महानद्याम् प्रतिमासन्निधौ वा जप्त्वा, 

सिद्धमन्त्रो भवति । 

महाविघ्नात् प्रमुच्यते । 

महादोषात् प्रमुच्यते । 

महापापात् प्रमुच्यते ।

अर्थ:- जो आठ ब्राह्मणों को उपनिषद का ज्ञाता बनाता हैं वे सूर्य के सामान तेजस्वी होते हैं । सूर्य ग्रहण के समय नदी तट पर अथवा अपने इष्ट के समीप इस उपनिषद का पाठ करे तो सिद्धी प्राप्त होती हैं । जिससे जीवन की रूकावटे दूर होती हैं पाप कटते हैं वह विद्वान हो जाता हैं यह ऐसे ब्रह्म विद्या हैं ।
