Vedic Astrology: An Introduction to the Science of Light

What is Vedic Astrology?

Vedic astrology is a system of astrology that originated in India and is based on the teachings of the Vedas, the ancient scriptures of Hinduism. Vedic astrology is also known as Jyotisha, which means "the science of light" or "the knowledge of the celestial bodies".

Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, which is based on the fixed positions of the stars, rather than the tropical zodiac, which is based on the seasons. Vedic astrology also considers the influence of the lunar nodes, called Rahu and Ketu, which are not planets but points of intersection between the orbits of the sun and the moon.

History of Vedic Astrology

The history of Vedic astrology can be traced back to the Rig Veda, one of the oldest texts in the world, dating back to around 1500 BCE. The Rig Veda contains hymns that praise various deities associated with the sun, the moon, and the planets. The Vedanga Jyotisha, a supplementary text to the Vedas, is considered to be one of the earliest treatises on astronomy and astrology in India.

It was composed by Lagadha around 1400 BCE and contains rules for calculating the movements of the sun and the moon, as well as methods for casting horoscopes. The Surya Siddhanta, another ancient text on astronomy and astrology, was written around 400 CE and contains more advanced mathematical techniques for predicting planetary positions and eclipses. The Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, attributed to sage Parashara, is regarded as one of the most authoritative texts on Vedic astrology. It was written around 600 CE and covers various topics such as planetary characteristics, signs, houses, aspects, yogas, dashas, transits, and remedies.

How to Read a Vedic Birth Chart?

To read a Vedic birth chart, also known as a natal chart or a kundali, one has to know the date, time, and place of birth of a person. A Vedic birth chart is a map of the sky at the moment of birth, showing the positions of the planets, the signs, and the houses. A Vedic birth chart consists of 12 houses, each representing a different aspect of life such as personality, family, career, health, etc.

Each house is ruled by a sign and contains one or more planets. The sign that rises on the eastern horizon at the time of birth is called the ascendant or lagna and determines the first house. The sign that occupies the tenth house from the ascendant is called the midheaven or zenith and indicates the highest point of achievement in life. The sign that sets on the western horizon at the time of birth is called the descendant or antardasha and shows the nature of relationships and partnerships. The sign that occupies the fourth house from the ascendant is called the nadir or imum coeli and signifies the roots and foundations of life.

How Can One Analyse any chart with the help of Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati?

The Brahgu Chakra system is an ancient astrology system that uses the positions of planets and constellations to forecast a person's life. It is named after the sage Brahagu, who was a great astrologer.

To analyze a chart using the Brahgu Chakra method, an astrologer will first need the date, time and place of the person's birth. Once they have this information, they can create a horoscope, which is a map of the sky at the time of the person's birth.

The astrologer will then study the horoscope to see how the planets and constellations are positioned. They will look at zodiac signs, houses, planets and aspects between planets.

Each planet is associated with a different aspect of life, such as personality, health, wealth, career, marriage and other aspects. Astrologers will look at the position of each planet in the horoscope to see how it will affect the person's life.

Astrologers will also look at aspects between planets. An aspect occurs when two planets are in a certain relationship with each other. Aspects can be positive or negative, and they can have a significant impact on a person's life.

After the astrologer has studied the horoscope, they can then make predictions about the person's life. These predictions can be about his personality, health, wealth, career, marriage and other aspects.

What is Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati?

Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati is a system of astrology that is attributed to the ancient sage Bhrigu. This system is a unique and complex approach to Vedic astrology that focuses on predicting events and outcomes in a person's life based on the position of planets in their birth chart.

In Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati, the birth chart is divided into segments or divisions known as "Chakras," each representing a specific area of life, such as career, relationships, health, finances, and so on. The positions of planets within these divisions are analyzed to make predictions and interpretations about various aspects of a person's life.

One of the distinguishing features of Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati is its emphasis on using a specific planetary sequence when analyzing the birth chart. This sequence is said to have been revealed by Sage Bhrigu and is considered crucial in making accurate predictions.

While Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati is not as widely known or practiced as some other systems of Vedic astrology, it has gained a following among astrologers who appreciate its unique methodology and insights. Like other astrological systems, it aims to provide insights into an individual's life, personality, and future events based on the positions of celestial bodies at the time of their birth.

As with any astrological system, it's important to approach Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati with an open mind and a critical perspective. While some people find value in its predictions and insights, others may view it as a belief system that lacks empirical evidence.

Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati Rules

Time of birth: The time of birth is very important in Bhrigu Chakra Paddhati. The astrologer studies the position of the constellations, planets, and other celestial bodies at the time of birth to predict a person's life.

1. What is Vedic Astrology?

Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotish, is a system of astrology that originated in India thousands of years ago. It is based on the belief that the planets, stars, and other celestial bodies have an influence on our lives. Vedic astrology is a more complex and detailed system than Western astrology, and it takes into account a wider range of factors, such as the time of birth, the place of birth, and the lunar zodiac.

Here are some of the key components of Vedic astrology:

Birth chart: The birth chart is a map of the heavens at the time of your birth. It shows the positions of the planets, stars, and other celestial bodies. The birth chart is used to assess your personality, strengths and weaknesses, and life path.

Navamsa chart: The Navamsa chart is a more detailed version of the birth chart. It shows the positions of the planets in the nine different signs of the zodiac. The Navamsa chart is used to assess your emotional and spiritual nature.

Planetary periods: The planetary periods are the different cycles that the planets go through. Each planet has its own period, and the period of a planet is said to have a significant influence on our lives. The planetary periods are used to predict major events in your life, such as marriage, career changes, and health challenges.

Dashas: The dashas are the different time periods that are influenced by the planets. Each planet has its own dashas, and the dashas are said to have a major impact on our lives. The dashas are used to predict the timing of events in your life, such as job opportunities, financial windfalls, and romantic relationships.

Vedic astrology can be used to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your life path. It can also be used to make predictions about your future. However, it is important to remember that Vedic astrology is not an exact science. It is a tool that can be used to gain insights into your life, but it should not be used to make decisions for you.

2. Why you should learn astrology?

Astrology can help you understand yourself better: By studying your birth chart, you can learn about your strengths, weaknesses, personality traits, and life purpose. This can help you to make better decisions and live a more fulfilling life.

Astrology can help you make better choices: By understanding the planetary influences at play in your life, you can make more informed decisions about your career, relationships, and finances.

Astrology can help you avoid pitfalls: By knowing your karmic patterns, you can be more aware of the challenges you may face in life and take steps to overcome them.

Astrology can help you connect with your intuition: As you learn more about astrology, you will develop a deeper understanding of the connection between your mind, body, and spirit. This can help you to trust your intuition and make better decisions in life.

Astrology can help you find your purpose in life: By understanding your birth chart, you can learn about your soul's journey and what you are here to accomplish in this lifetime. This can give you a sense of direction and purpose in life.

Will Chandrayaan 3 be Successful According to Astrology?

Chandrayaan 3 is India's third lunar mission, and it is scheduled to launch in 2023. The mission aims to land a rover on the Moon and collect data about the lunar surface.

Some astrologers have made predictions about the success of Chandrayaan 3. Some astrologers believe that the mission will be successful, while others believe that it will fail. There is no consensus among astrologers about the outcome of the mission.

It is important to note that astrology is not a reliable way to predict the future. There is no scientific evidence to support the claims of astrology, and it is generally considered to be a form of divination. Therefore, it is not possible to say with certainty whether or not Chandrayaan 3 will be successful based on astrological predictions.

Astrology tells Chandrayaan-3: The eyes of not only compatriots but people from all over the world are on Chandrayaan-3. Today at 14:35, India's highly capable Chandrayaan-3 will be launched from the Indian Center for Space Research (ISRO) launched by SDSC Sriharikota's LPM 3. The success of Sriharikota's Chandrayaan-3 will improve India's image. India's position on the world stage will increase. Every Indian prays for his success.

Why was Scorpio created on the rising and exalted Moon?

Scorpio was cast in a fixed Ascendant. In astrology, a fixed ascendant is considered the best way to achieve long-term results. The mission is to get better benefits in the future and that is why it was introduced to the Scorpio ascendant. The exalted Moon is in Taurus in the 7th house. An exalted moon will bring the best benefits in this astronomical campaign related to the moon. Apart from this, planets like Rahu, Sun and Ketu are present in the 6th, 8th and 12th houses from the Ascendant. These planets offer the best odds at 6, 8, 12. Especially if you win.

Lessons from Past Failures

ISRO learned from the last failed Chandrayaan mission and increased Chandrayaan-3's landing range on the lunar surface, multiplying the chances of a safe Chandrayaan-3 landing. All Indians hope and pray that Chandrayaan will succeed in his mission and bring global recognition to India for his successful fourth moon mission.

Starting with the Service

Prior to the launch of Chandrayaan-3, leading ISRO scientists prayed for the success of Mission Moon at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala on July 13, 2023. Three male and two female scientists participated in this prayer. After the failure of Chandrayaan 1 and 2, many changes have been made to Chandrayaan-3, this mission is expected to be successful and register its name as the fourth successful moon mission country after America, Russia, China, India.

Position of the Planets in Relation to Chandrayaan-3

According to the Research Center of India, the Scorpio ascendant ascended at 2:35 p.m. m. on July 14, 2023. Mars, the lord of this ascendant, sat in the 10th house with Venus, giving Mission Moon a better chance to gain strength. According to Vedic astrology, the Lord of the Ascendant, who resides in the tenth house and from there aspects the ascendant, strengthens both the ascendant and the tenth house. This shows the determination of ISRO and its scientists towards the Luna Mission.

A Promising Opportunity for Women Scientists

According to Vedic astrology, the presence of Venus with Mars in the missionary moon is also considered as a great opportunity for female scientists. Through this mission, you will be able to leave a different mark on the country and the world. At this point, Saturn is retrograde in the 4th house, indicating some trouble. But the combined effect of Saturn and Mars is seen as promising in the field of technology. Therefore, it is expected that there will be no problems with this mission.

What will be the Position of the Planets?

According to Vedic astrology, based on astrological calculations, the timing of the launch of Chandrayaan-3 is considered to be very special. The moon, the lord of the place of happiness, was exalted by sitting in the seventh house. Moon's rise can be seen as extremely positive for Mission Moon. At this time, the Moon will be sitting in Taurus in the Rohini Nakshatra, which is considered the most auspicious nakshatra of the Moon. Considering all these situations, the astrology expert believes that the chances of success for Mission Moon can be high.

According to the Moon Sign, the main influence of Mercury, the Moon and Devguru Jupiter should remain during the launch of Chandrayaan-3. Mercury, the eighth and eleventh lord sits in the house of luck, while Moon, the lord of the seventh house, is exalted in the seventh house, while Dev Guru Jupiter sits in the sixth house and Rahu is the second and fifth lord. At this time, Saturn retrogrades aspect.

Get Good Signals

- According to the Ascendant question, the Moon is watching you due to the Ascendant of Scorpio ascendant, so it is believed that Chandrayaan-3 can succeed with the support of luck.

All in all, according to Vedic astrology, there are signs of success of Chandrayaan-3. It is a great joy and great pride for India.

Among various applications, a Prashna chart can be effectively used to analyze exams, careers, and job prospects. This article aims to provide a step-by-step guide on how to read a Prashna chart and derive meaningful interpretations regarding a person's examination success, career trajectory, and job opportunities. It is a very powerful tool that can be used to gain insights into your exam, career, and job prospects.

Understanding the Basics of Prashna Charts

1. What is a Prashna Chart?

A Prashna chart is constructed for a specific moment when a person asks a question. It provides insights into the astrological influences surrounding that particular query.

2. Significance of Houses

The Prashna chart consists of 12 houses, each representing specific aspects of life. The first house represents the person asking the question, the tenth house signifies career, and the fifth house indicates education and exams.

3. Planetary Influences

The positions and aspects of planets in the chart influence the outcome of the question. Benefic and malefic planets play a crucial role in determining results.

Analyzing Exam Success

1. Identify the Relevant House

Locate the fifth house in the Prashna chart, as it represents education and academic performance.

2. Examine Planetary Placements

Check the planets placed in or aspecting the fifth house. Benefic planets like Jupiter and Mercury tend to enhance exam success, while malefic planets like Saturn and Rahu may indicate challenges.

3. Timing of the Exam

The positions of the Moon and Mercury can provide valuable information about the auspicious timing for taking exams.

4. Strength of the Lord of the Fifth House

Assess the strength and dignity of the lord of the fifth house. A strong and well-placed lord can signify favorable exam outcomes.

5. Dashas and Transits

Consider the planetary periods (dashas) and current transits to gauge the influence they may have on exam results.

Deciphering Career Opportunities

Identifying the Career House

Locate the tenth house in the Prashna chart, which represents the person's career and professional life.

Evaluating the Tenth House Lord

Analyze the position and strength of the lord of the tenth house. A well-placed and strong lord indicates a promising career path.

Planetary Influences on the Tenth House

Assess the influence of other planets on the tenth house to understand the nature of career opportunities that may arise.

Mahadasha and Antardasha Analysis

Examine the major period (Mahadasha) and sub-period (Antardasha) of the planets to determine the timing of significant career developments.

Combining with Birth Chart

For a more comprehensive analysis, cross-reference the Prashna chart with the person's birth chart to gain additional insights into long-term career prospects.

Evaluating Job Prospects

Identifying the House of Employment

Locate the sixth house in the Prashna chart, which represents job prospects and service-related matters.

Analyzing the Sixth House Lord

Evaluate the position and strength of the lord of the sixth house. A well-placed and powerful lord may indicate favorable job opportunities.

Planetary Influences on the Sixth House

Consider the influences of other planets on the sixth house to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of job prospects.

Timing of Job Offer

The positions of the Moon and Mercury can provide insights into the timing of job offers or potential career changes.

Once you have considered all of these factors, you can begin to interpret your Prashna Astrology chart for insights into your exam, career, and job prospects. Here are some things to look for:

If the ascendant and midheaven are in compatible signs, it indicates that you are well-suited for a career in the area of your question. For example, if you are asking about a job in law, you would want to see the ascendant and midheaven in signs that are associated with law, such as Libra or Aquarius.

If the houses that are relevant to your question are well-aspected, it indicates that you have the potential for success in that area. For example, if you are asking about a job in finance, you would want to see the houses that represent your education and finances well-aspected.

If the planets that are relevant to your question are strong and well-placed, it indicates that you have the resources and abilities to achieve your goals. For example, if you are asking about a job in writing, you would want to see Mercury well-placed in the chart.

If the aspects between the planets in your chart are positive, it indicates that you will have a smooth journey towards your goals. However, if the aspects are negative, it indicates that you may face some challenges along the way.

By carefully interpreting your Prashna chart, you can gain valuable insights into your exam, career, and job prospects. This information can help you make better decisions about your education and career path, and it can also give you the confidence to achieve your goals.

Conclusion

In conclusion, reading a Prashna chart can be a valuable tool for analyzing exams, careers, and job prospects. By understanding the positions of relevant houses, planetary influences, and timing, astrologers can provide insightful guidance to individuals seeking clarity in these aspects of their lives. However, it is essential to remember that Horary Astrology should be used as a supplementary tool for decision-making, and individuals must also take practical steps to achieve their goals. Always consult a qualified astrologer for an in-depth and personalized analysis of your Prashna chart.
